XANDER FURMAN* (Jack) is an actor born and based in NYC. He trained at Cornell, The National Theater Institute, and the Atlantic Acting Conservatory. Some credits include Takedown and Turn Up the Volume at TFTNC in Manhattan, and War Wound and Thrillers and Laughs at the Savage Wonder Art Center in Beacon, NY. LIZ MATTERA* (Louise) is a Philly based actress so excited to return to East Lynne, where she was previously seen as Catharine/Paula in Who Am I This Time? Some other favorite credits include: Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella (Ella), The Outsider (Paige), You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Lucy), Assassins (Housewife), Trolls and Men (Astrid), Murder on the Nile (Kay), Macbeth (Lady MacDuff), and Murder at the Perk (Monica), as well as directing/producing/writing/performing in Daughters Rising with Daughters of Troy. Proud graduate of Marymount Manhattan College with a BFA in Musical Theatre. Liz wants to dedicate this show to her parents, Tery and Jack, and their own love story. KEN LUDWIG (Playwright) is a two-time Olivier Award-winning playwright who has written 28 plays and musicals, including six shows on Broadway and seven in London’s West End. Lend Me A Tenor won two Tony Awards and was called “one of the classic comedies of the 20th century” by the Washington Post. Many of his works have become a standard part of the American repertoire, including Crazy For You (five years on Broadway; Tony and Olivier Awards for Best Musical); Moon Over Buffalo (starring Carol Burnett); Twentieth Century (starring Alec Baldwin); Baskerville, Shakespeare in Hollywood (Helen Hayes Award); The Game’s Afoot (Edgar Award for Best Mystery of the Year); A Fox on the Fairway; Leading Ladies; and a stage version of Murder on the Orient Express, written at the request of the Agatha Christie Estate. His book How to Teach Your Children Shakespeare won the Falstaff Award for Best Shakespeare Book of the Year. MARK EDWARD LANG (Director) has a diverse background working in the theater, from acting and directing to graphic design and playwriting. New York directing projects include the interactive comedy Instant Shakespeare, The White House ’96, and Othello on 42nd Street starring Timothy D. Stickney (“One Life to Live”). Regional includes Sam Shepard’s Fool for Love in Florida; and acclaimed productions of O’Neill’s Anna Christie and Kyle Bass’ Possessing Harriet for ELTC. As a playwright: Lunt and Fontanne at Classic Theatre of San Antonio and FringeNYC, Zelda & Scott: A Life Affair (NYC, The Fitzgerald Museum in Alabama & ELTC). Corporate leadership theater events have taken him across the country and around the world with Leadership-Masters. Acting roles include many seasons with ELTC, since 2001. Honors graduate of Vassar College (Kazan Prize for Excellence in the Dramatic Arts).
TRAVIS CHINICK (Costume Design) is a freelance Costume designer, Painter, and Illustrator based out of New York City. He is a member of USA 829 and IATSE Local 764. He was an Associate Designer on Broadway productions of A Wonderful World: The Louis Armstrong Musical; The Mother Play starring Jessica Lange; and the upcoming 2025 production of Midnight in The Garden of Good and Evil. Recently, his work on Fellow Travelers was selected for the Robert L. B. Tobin Director-Designer Prize by OPERA America led by Director Ian Silverman. He has worked with such companies as RWS Entertainment Group, Davenport Theatrical Enterprises, Broadway Cares Equity Fights AIDS, Manhattan Theatre Club, Yale Repertory Theatre, Atlantic Theatre Company and other companies across the country. On Broadway he was the Assistant Costume Designer on the 2014 revival of Les Miserables and worked for the Metropolitan Opera as a Painter. www.tchinick.com
