THE CLEMANS THEATER for the ARTS at Allen A.M.E.
717 FRANKLIN STREET    CAPE MAY, NJ
One Actor.  Forty Characters.  Zero Availability.

Welcome to the reservation desk of New York’s hottest restaurant. It’s almost Christmas vacation. The tables are impossible to get. The celebrities are demanding. And the phone never stops ringing.

In Becky Mode’s wildly funny one-person tour de force, a single actor plays more than forty wildly different characters—from desperate diners and entitled socialites to nervous assistants, impatient chefs, and celebrities who expect the impossible.  At the center of the chaos is Sam, the restaurant’s overworked reservations manager, juggling egos, expectations, and a dining room that is perpetually fully committed.

Set during the frantic holiday rush--December 23, one of the most coveted dining nights of the year—the phones explode with desperate diners, impossible demands, and a parade of personalities all competing for the same impossible reservation.  Fast-paced, razor sharp, and instantly recognizable to anyone who has ever tried to secure the impossible dinner reservation, Fully Committed is a virtuosic comedy about ambition, service, and the absurd rituals of modern dining.

Content Note:
This play contains strong language and adult humor.
